Our State – Kerala witness and suffered the worst impact of incessant rains the fury of floods during August – September 2018.
Sri Sathya Sai Trust Kerala and SSSSO Kerala jointly are in the process of rebuilding Kerala by extending Swami’s love to the affected victims of flood. We are in the process of constructing 65 specially designed houses to the flood victims. In the first phase, construction of 14 houses have been completed and handed over to the families in a grandeur function held at Amayida near Ambalappuzha Sreekrishna Temple in Alappuzha District in Kerala on 19th Dec 2019.
Sri Nimish Pandya AIP of SSSSO and SSSCT member Sri Ratnakar and handed over the Keys in the presence of Sri Remani AIVP SSSSO India along with Sri Mukundan SP SSSSO Kerala, Sri Satheesh Convenor SSS Trust Kerala, Sri Prabhakaran SVP SSSSO Kerala and the entire State Team of SSSSO Kerala.
The dignitaries visited all the houses, spent time with the beneficiaries, participated in the house warming functions and extended their love, wishes and prayers to each one of them. The inmates were overwhelmed by the selfless love and care shared by Swami’s messengers and they expressed their loving gratitude and regards to everyone.
On 18th December 2019 , Sri Ratnakar along with Sri Rameswar Prishti of SSSCT and Sri Selvaganesh , a representative of Sri Manohar Shetty , builder made an intensive survey in the interior places of Alappuzha District to find the locations of the Anganaadies which will be built by the SSSCT. They were taken to these places, the District President of Alappuzha and Team Members of KRC (Kerala Rehabilitation Committee). SSSCT has decided to make 7 Anganavadies to be built in the flood-affected area.
On the way back from Alappuzha , the dignitaries inaugurated a Herbal Garden in Sri Sai Vidya Vihar Aluva, a dream project of AIP, SSSSOINDIA. This is a garden of medicinal plants which will be given to the needy free of cost.
All the dignitaries participated in the Christmas New Year Celebrations of Sri Sai Vidya Vihar.
The last programme was the inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Training and Development at Sai Center Aluva. This center will provide a Training on all aspects of EHV, Counselling , PD and Parenting. A module for this Institute is also released during the occasion.
